I was delighted to pledge my support for this year’s Great British Spring Clean organised by Keep Britain Tidy, which will run from 20th March to 13th April.
The Great British Spring Clean brings together individuals, community organisations, businesses and councils to make a difference to the environment on our doorstep.
In 2019 around 560,000 #LitterHeroes took part. The aim for this year is 600,000 people taking action to clean up streets, parks and beaches across the country.
Individual actions joined together can make a sizeable difference. However, the biggest action will come from behaviour change in the first instance.
So lets make 2020 the year we highlight the 3 Rs; reduce, reuse and recycle.
