Jo Churchill MP has welcomed new figures showing that unemployment was down for the month of July 2015, compared to one year ago.
Mrs Churchill said: “At 649, the number of people in my constituency claiming Job Seeker’s Allowance or Universal Credit is down 150 compared to this time last year. That’s a drop of nearly 20%. Of these, 80 are aged 18-24.
These figures show our local economy is going from strength to strength and that more young people are able to find the opportunities they need to help them get on.”
