Last Friday I held a roundtable with independent business owners from Stowmarket Town centre to discuss ways we can all work together to improve the town and drive more investment and business into the high street.
We also discussed ways we can promote the town and its thriving independent scene, making it an attractive alternate destination to other towns across the county and giving Stowmarket an independent identity.
I look forward to working with these business leaders, Mid Suffolk District Council, the town council and other stakeholders going forwards to build on this discussion and implement improvements.
