This morning before Parliament prorogued I had the honour of delivering a message from the King in my role as Vice-Chamberlain of HM Household to the House of Commons.
I informed the Prime Minister recently of my decision to stand down at the next election. It has been a privilege & honour to serve the people of Bury St Edmunds & Stowmarket.
I wish my successor all the best in representing this most wonderful part of our United Kingdom.
